the kind of beautiful you don’t forget

a little poem for the girl who doesn’t know

By Aarav Agarwal · Oct 2026 · 1 min read

Your eyes have this quiet kind of magic,
like the stars forgot the sky and settled there;
one look, and all the noise inside me softens—
I could get lost in them and still call it fair.

Your hair falls like a scene from a late-night movie,
messy or perfect, it somehow feels the same;
and every little thing you do without thinking
makes ordinary moments feel like they have a name.

It’s not just your smile, or the way your face lights up,
it’s the warmth you leave behind when you’re gone;
you make the simplest seconds feel unforgettable,
like a song my heart keeps quietly playing on.

And maybe you’ll never see yourself the way I see you,
or feel the things I’m too afraid to say;
but if beauty is a feeling, not just something you look like,
then you’re the kind that stays with me long after the day.
